Oceans 2 Earth Volunteers welcomes individuals and groups from corporate backgrounds seeking to make a tangible difference. Our corporate volunteering programs focus on wildlife and marine conservation in Australia.
With a multifaceted approach that allows companies to contribute to our targets of animal welfare and global conservation, there are a variety of projects that cater for corporate groups. By sending a collective group or valued team member to a project or sending resources via an official partnership to compliment our own efforts on the ground, your brand will be ethically aligned to our objectives of long-term sustainability.
We believe it is important to open a dialogue about global conservation and volunteering opportunities between corporations and O2E to align both parties towards the challenges that lay ahead. Our core mission values work in unison towards a common goal and if you have an individual or team of committed corporate representatives on hand, organisations can communicate a message to your peers, customers and stakeholders alike that you are an enterprise that values conservation and the benefits it brings at a grassroots level.
Why Join an O2E Project as a corporate volunteering group?
There are many reasons why a commercial enterprise would opt into an Oceans 2 Earth Volunteers endeavour either on domestic shores here in Australia or on foreign soil.
From Asia to South America, Africa and the greater Australasia region, local organisations and global conglomerates each identify value by giving their staff an opportunity to develop skills, build networks, craft an appreciation for their environment and return with a sense of pride, fulfilment and added sense of purpose. From a marketing, communications and public relations standpoint, you can illustrate that you are a rare commodity that matches ambitious rhetoric with tangible action.
Given our collective experience across the globe and with over 20 projects to choose from, our dedicated teams working on the ground with animals and on our conservation efforts, enjoy working with people from all professional areas of expertise and believe everyone has something to offer. We are seeking assistance from organisations who recognise the need for supporting not-for-profit organisations so that they may further their conservation objectives. With your help, our impact on the ground is magnified. Send a group for a team-building exercise, or give a project as a reward for a job well done.
Building business networks
O2E’s co-founders Tracy Leske and Cassie Smith each recognise the value of building partnerships and maximising opportunities through commercial enterprises. Our efforts can only reach so far with the grit and determination of individual citizens, but with the help of organisations fighting to rescue, rehabilitate and protect our environment, the O2E team can offer some very unique wildlife and conservation volunteering opportunities.
Tracy’s international development and workplace education qualifications, together with her campaigning and advocating for better animal welfare conditions, has opened doors to conservation experts, scientific bodies, corporate sponsors and educational institutions that has provided the operation with a more prominent position within an evolving industry.
The same can be said for Cassie, whose extensive career has ventured from risk management, studies in criminology and working in personal training, manufacturing, education and finance sectors respectively. The O2E co-founding team strive to bring in as many contributors as possible, with commercial enterprises forming a crucial part of that equation.
Whether they derive from IT professionals to management staff, administration contributors, web programming or content writers, the O2E story is one comprised of commercial influencers, all joined towards a greater cause.
The Oceans 2 Earth Volunteers door is always open for corporate partners to be involved in our ongoing efforts.
