O2E Grants

In 2019 Oceans 2 Earth Volunteers developed a goal to provide Education Support to volunteers.

The LEARN Grant Program is the first step in this new initiative.

The objectives of the LEARN grant program are:
  • Provide financial support to allow an educational, meaningful volunteer experience
  • Encourage the development of knowledge about animal/marine conservation
The intended outcomes of the program are:
  • Cultural education through experiential travel
  • Conservation education through hands on volunteer work at an O2E project
‘A classroom without walls’ Grant
The objectives and outcomes of the grant opportunity are:
  • To support the objectives and outcomes of the overall LEARN Grant program and Oceans 2 Earth Volunteer’s Education Support Outcomes
  • Provide funds to assist one volunteer each year to attend a volunteer program
For this grant opportunity $2,000 is available for travel every year. The successful candidate is required to contribute towards the volunteer activities including airfares, travel insurance, vaccinations and other items or activities as required to complete the volunteer project.
